The Gauteng Department of e-Government, in partnership with Netcampus, invites unemployed youth to apply for a FREE Data Analytics Skills Program.
Participants will gain valuable, in-demand skills in areas such as:
Data Collection & Data Cleaning
Data Visualization (Power BI)
Interpreting Data for Decision Making
Data analysis skills are essential for today’s digital economy and the future of work.

Training Program Structure
Phase 1: 100% Online Training
All participants will complete the first phase online, gaining foundational data analysis knowledge.
Kick-off of training: 13 March 2026

Phase 2: Classroom Training (Top 50 Participants)
The top 50 performers from Phase 1 will progress to in-person, classroom-based training at either:
Netcampus Fourways, or
Netcampus Centurion
NB: Transportation details will be provided.
During this phase, participants will receive advanced training and be prepared to sit for the international Microsoft Data Analyst certification exam.

Expression of Interest (EOI)
Overview of the Opportunity
Off-Grid Europe (OGE) invites partners to develop solar-powered cold storage. The program targets West, East, and Southern Africa. OGE intends to select three projects for its 2026 deployment. This initiative addresses post-harvest yield loss in remote areas.
The Much Cooler Technology
The Much Cooler is a patented, off-grid agricultural cooling hall. It features a modular, scalable design. Integrated solar panels and batteries provide constant power. The system can store up to 5,000 metric tons.
Financing and Technical Support
OGE offers up to 85% project value in loan financing. Please note this is a loan, not a grant. OGE provides turnkey delivery and ongoing technical support. Agribusinesses and cooperatives are encouraged to apply.
Evaluation Criteria
EOIs will be assessed based on:
● Commercial credibility and clarity of the project concept
● Creditworthiness and financial strength of the off-taker
● Demonstrated demand for cold storage services
● Measurable development and climate impact
● Scalability and regional balance
Submission of an EOI does not constitute a commitment by OGE to finance or
implement a project.

Closing date for receipt of EOIs: 18th of March 2026
Late submissions may not be considered.
