Thapelo wanted to honor his favorite teacher with a birthday gift that truly reflected his appreciation, even though he didn’t have money for anything extravagant. Inspired by her love for organization and the lessons she taught about caring for the environment, he decided to craft a handbag from upcycled felt and plastic.

He spent hours carefully cutting, stitching, and designing compartments that would hold her notebooks, lesson plans, and personal items. When he finally presented it, her joyful reaction showed how meaningful the handmade gift was.
